MEDILINK-GLOBAL (ASIA) PTE LTD is a Singapore incorporated company that primarily conducts businesses in Third Party Administration (TPA) and providing Healthcare Claims Management solutions to Insurance companies, Corporate Organizations and Hospitals across Asia.
The company's wholly owned subsidiary in Malaysia, MEDILINKGLOBAL (M) SDN BHD, commenced TPA business operations in 1999 when it rolled out its services to support the SIHAT MALAYSIA programme — the first initiative of the Malaysian insurance industry to collaboratively design and distribute a common Medical Insurance product.
Today, Medilink-Global operates a 24×7 Contact Centre in Kuala Lumpur, supporting an established network of more than 2,000 healthcare providers comprising GP Clinics, Specialist Clinics, Dental Clinics, Private Medical Centers and Private Hospitals.

MEDILINKGLOBAL (M) SDN BHD commenced TPA business in Malaysia, supporting the SIHAT MALAYSIA programme — the first collaborative medical insurance product of the Malaysian insurance industry.
Launched ECCS with Credit Card Terminals at healthcare institutions. Secured TPA service contract with Aetna Universal Insurance Bhd. Mr Shia Kok Fat co-founded Medilink-Global Malaysia.
Replicated the TPA business model in Indonesia under PT Administrasi Medika, establishing the Group's first international footprint in Southeast Asia.
Expanded TPA business to China under the MEDILINK-GLOBAL CHINA brand, bringing proven claims management technology to one of the world's largest insurance markets.
MEDILINK-GLOBAL CHINA was acquired by Nanyan Group (Insurtech), validating the platform's value and establishing the entity as a leading TPA provider in the China market.
Initiated joint venture with UGI Group in Bangladesh (Medilink-Global Bangladesh Limited). Launched MEDIBRIDGE — a digital data exchange platform connecting healthcare providers with payors — in Malaysia.
Incorporated Medilink Technology Sdn. Bhd. (202501001066), a dedicated technology entity to accelerate AI-driven digital health innovation across the ASEAN region.

Mr Shia Kok Fat
An Accountant by training, Mr Shia served as Internal Audit Manager at Telekom Malaysia Berhad (1986–1993) before venturing into healthcare software development. He studied Healthcare Management at Edith Cowan University, Australia, and co-founded Medilink-Global Malaysia in 2001. He has since spearheaded the Group's expansion into Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Bangladesh and China.
Mr. Alfred Yew
With a degree in Electrical Engineering (USA) and an MBA from Peking University, Mr. Yew built his career in North America's telecommunications industry, contributing to 3G and EV-DO migration projects. He joined Medilink-Global China as Strategic Management Director in 2008 and rejoined the Group to spearhead AI-driven strategic growth.
Ms Jessie Wong
Professionally trained by the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA, UK) and the Malaysian Institute of Insurance, Ms Wong joined the Group in 2000 after 12 years in general accounting and corporate secretarial practice. She has been instrumental in structuring major TPA contracts and Software License Agreements across the Group's regional operations for over 20 years.
Mr Wasim Reza
Mr Wasim launched the original ECCS with Credit Card Terminals at healthcare institutions in 2001. He has implemented Enterprise Claims Management Systems in Malaysia, Singapore, China and Indonesia, led integration with Singapore's MediClaim Health Information Exchange, and spearheaded the development and rollout of the MEDIBRIDGE platform in 2021.
Dr Shahjahan Bin Kassim
Dr Shahjahan holds a Post Graduate Degree in Allergy from Imperial College, London, and has over 20 years of experience in General Practice. He spent more than 10 years at a renowned International Insurance company providing professional advice in medical underwriting, claims review, fraud investigation and audit.
Ms Ong Siew Fun
An Associate of the Malaysian Insurance Institute since the early 1990s, Ms Ong brings over 15 years of experience in underwriting and claim processing. She joined Medilink-Global as Claims Manager in 2011 and now oversees the entire TPA operation including customer service, cashless and reimbursement claim processing, quality assurance and data management.
